Driver License services provided by the Osceola County Tax Collector's Office, are only provided in The Main Office, located at 2501 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy in Kissimmee. An additional $5.25 service fee is charged for services provided by The Tax Collector's Office. The following is a list of most of the Driver License Services we provide, with a brief description of requirements. For answers to more specific questions please call us at 407-742-4000 or e-mail webinfo@osceola.org. Please note, road tests and some suspension clearances, are not handled in our office, you must go to one of the State operated Driver License Offices for those transactions.

ORIGINALS

DUPLICATE/REPLACEMENT

SUSPENSION CLEARANCES

  • Traffic Tickets (D6 Receipt Required)
  • Point Suspensions With Proof of Adv. Driver
  • Improvement Class Attendance
  • DUI Cases With Proof of DUI Class Attendance
  • Child Support Cases

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY CLEARANCE

  • Point Suspension with Proof of Bodily Injury Insurance
  • DUI Cases with Proof of Bodily Injury Insurance

WHAT DO I NEED TO GET A FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE, OR FLORIDA ID CARD?

Original Operator Driver License - Transfer From Out of State

Two forms of identification, a primary and secondary, as described in information that follows. The names MUST match exactly. i.e. Your out of state driver license and social security card.

Vision test, with or without corrective lenses, to meet acuity of 20/40.

Hearing test.

Below are the requirements for:
Paper Original Operator Driver’s License – First Time License (Age 15 or older)
Paper Original Non-Resident Driver’s License (Valid in Florida Only Driver’s License)
Paper Original Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – Transfer From Out of State
Paper Original Identification Card – All First Time Issuances of a Florida ID Card
Paper Renewal of Valid in Florida Only Driver’s License & Lost Florida Driver’s License or Lost Florida ID Card
Paper Identification Documents Required For Florida Driver’s License or ID Card
Paper Online Payment
